Obit’s cloud-based funeral software solution continues to make strides forwards and we can today announce our associate membership of SAIF. This represents another step in the company’s strategy to expand in the UK following years of consolidated growth in the Irish market.
Obit was founded in 2015 and has quickly established itself as a cutting edge solution for multi-branch funeral directors to make efficiency savings, modernise their operations and extend their digital services. Already a long standing member of the IAFD, it was natural for the company to seek associate membership of SAIF as it continues to grow in the UK market.
Richard Lynch, co-founder of Obit said of the announcement “We made our application a few months ago and are now delighted to be part of SAIF’s network. We share SAIF’s mission to support funeral directors and aim to provide the same level of excellence in our digital support to UK funeral directors as we have become known for in Ireland”
“We look forward to assist funeral directors across the UK by championing funeral tech and accelerating innovation in the sector as well as providing affordable tools and solutions to reduce the administrative burden on funeral homes”
Obit recently released version 4 of their funeral software and marked the start of this year with a new and refreshed website.
