Encryption

All communication with Obit and between our servers is encrypted by TLS 1.3, the latest version of the cryptographic protocol.

Redundancy

The Obit database is a multi-node cluster, so should anything happen to one, the others will take over, ensuring uninterrupted access to your data.

Regular Backups

Automatic backups are taken of all the data several times a day meaning the backed-up data is never more than a few hours behind the live data.

Multiple Availability Zones

The database is mirrored in different AWS Availability Zones each with their own redundant power & networking, ensuring uninterrupted access to your data.

Two Factor Authentication

Obit supports two different TFA modes helping you prevent unauthorised access to your data. In Inform mode your users will be automatically informed of access from new devices or locations whilst in Challenge mode they will have to first confirm the new device or location before being granted access.
